You Have Me (Isaac x Reader)

You woke up with a gasp as something hit your arm. You sat up and saw Isaac thrashing around, trapped in a dream. Your eyes widened as his arm hit the headboard of the bed, cracking the wood. He whimpered and flailed, muttering as cold swear glistened on his bare chest.

You shook his shoulder roughly, trying to wake him up. "Hey, puppy, it's okay." You whispered, trying to get his attention. "Wake up."

"I'm sorry, it's not my fault, I can't fix it, no please, help me! Help me please! Let me out!" He shouted, shuddering and gasping. His claws snapped out, and when he swine his arm they scraped across your bicep, drawing blood. The wound began to close immediately, but you worried that he could hurt himself if he didn't wake up.

You used your body to pin him onto the bed. Your face was inches from his, and your legs pinned his arms to his sides. Your hands were on his face as you struggled to wake him.

"Isaac!"

His eyes snapped open.

"(Name)!" He cried, scrambling back.
You slid off him. "Oh god, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, it my fault, all my fault, I'm so sorry." He pressed his body against the headboard of the bed.

"Hey, hey puppy, it's okay, you're okay." You said, reaching for him. He flinched, and you pulled your hand back. Concern coiled in your belly. "It's okay, it's me."

"I'm so sorry!" He knotted his fingers in his hair, shaking his head. "It's all my fault!"

"Isaac," you said trying to keep the fear out of your voice. "You were having a nightmare. But it's okay, you're safe now."

His eyes widened with understanding. "Oh god, (Name)!" He locked his arms around you, pulling you close. "I thought, I mean,  it was my fault, and-"

You shook your head. "It was just a dream. You're fine. You didn't do anything wrong." You stroked his hair, whispering assurances.

He relaxed against you, nodding as your words calmed his down. Eventually you lay back down, him on his back, you with your head resting on his chest. His fingers teased your hair, and you traced designs on his side with the tip of your finger nail.

"I'm sorry about that." He said.

"It's okay." You replied.

"No, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have scared you like that."

You told him not to worry, that you could handle a little night terror. You didn't tell him about how scared you had really been, and how scared you still were. You worried about him, because you knew how base nightmares could get. But you didn't want him to think he had done anything wrong.

You laughed softly. "I'm sure you'll get plenty of chances to wake me up  when I have nightmares."

"You get them too?" He asked, tilting his head to the side. "What about?"

You were prepared to tell him that you didn't really want to talk about them, but he looked so vulnerable, and you thought that maybe it would make him feel less scared if he knew what you dreamed about.

"Ya." You replied. "I see my family, and the hunters, and the people I care about being hurt. What about you?"

Isaac licked his lips, taking a deep breath before replying. "I see my dad, and I'm in the freezer, and I can't breathe. I feel like I can't get out, like I'm going to die in there. And there's nothing I can do to stop it."

"Trust that I'll get you out." You said. You wanted him to understand that you wouldn't let anything like that happen to him ever again. "Because I would. You know that right?" You sat up, looking him in the eye.

He nodded. "Ya, I know." He kissed the top if your head. "You know I'll never let the hunters hurt you again, right."

You nodded. His fingers played with your hair, massaging your scalp. It felt nice, and you tilted your head so he had better access. Your eyes started to slip shut, and you

"I love you."

You froze, your heart skipping a beat.

"(Name)?" Isaac sat up slightly, looking at you.

You blinked slowly, still shocked.

"Y-ya, me too." You stammered.

Isaac frowned, his eyebrows drawing together in confusion. "Are you okay?"

"Ya, I just-" you pushed yourself up off the bed, pulling on a large sweater and jeans over your tank top and pyjama shorts. "-I just need some air."

And with that you ran out of the room.

------------

Derek found you on the roof a few hours later, sitting on the edge with your feet dangling over the side, a book and pencil in your hand.

"What are you doing up here?" He asked.

"I just needed to be alone." You said, not turning around to look at him. "I'm not used to all the company."

"Isaacs worried about you." He said, walking over to where you sat. "What happened?"

You looked up. "Nothing."

Derek raised an eyebrow.

You sighed. "I'm not big on the whole sharing thing either."

"Ya, well I'm not big on the whole pack drama thing. So fix it. Whatever it is."

You rolled your eyes. "Fine mommy-wolf. Isaac said he loved me."

"Eei!" You and Derek both jumped and spun around. Stiles smacked a hand over his mouth.

Derek groaned. "What the hell are you doing up here?"

"He said he loved you?!" Stiles walked onto the roof. "The sly bastard. He got you with the daddy story didn't he? He's still milking that."

You laughed, and Derek sighed. "No," you smiled. "Well, actually yes. He had a nightmare, and I woke him up."

"Well, why are you hiding up here? Shouldn't you be... basking in the glow of young love or something?"

It was your turn to sigh. "I don't… I can't... it scares me." You whispered.

Derek raised an eyebrow.

"Everyone I've ever loved is dead." You said. "I don't have a very good track record for close relationships."

"That's pathetic." Stiles groaned. "Don't you think everyone's lost someone important? Hell, Isaac had the most screwed up childhood ever. His brother died, his mom died, and his father was an asshole until the day he- you guessed it- died. He was actually hitting Isaac thirty minutes before he bit the dust. But you know what? Just because you're hurting doesn't mean you have to turn out like Derek."

Derek shot him a look. "Shut up Stiles." He ran a hand through his hair. "He is right though (Name)."

"Don't listen to him. I know what I'm- wait, what?" Stiles interrupted. "You think I'm right?"

Derek sighed. "In this one instance, you are right."

When Stiles grinned, Derek punched him in the arm. "Ouch!"

"Even an idiot can be right at least once." Derek snapped. "But, (Name), Isaac has had shitty relationship luck. He's had terrible things happen to him, but he decided to trust you with something as important as love. That means a lot. And if you don't feel the same way, fine, we can have your bags packed in under an hour. But if you're holding back because you're afraid, then that's a problem."

You sighed. "I just..." You ran your hands through your hair. "I just don't know. Maybe I should leave. I'm not good with groups anyway, and-" You froze, and spun around in time to see Isaac disappearing down the stairs.

"Shit!" You swore, taking off after him.

"Isaac!" You grabbed his arm. "I'm sorry."

"Why? It's no big deal." He said, smiling slightly. "I didn't mean to move too fast. And I wouldn't want to keep you here if you really want to go."

You froze. "Are you telling me you want me to go?"

"I don't want to be the reason you stay."

"You aren't the reason I stay- I mean you are, but not the only reason, and not just because I feel sorry for you." You tried to explain. "I love Erica, and Boyd, and Scott, and even Derek and Stiles. They actually give really good advice."

Isaac sighed. "I just don't want you to feel like you're trapped here."

You shook your head. "I'm not. I love it here. I love…" you blinked. "I think I love you."

Isaac smiled, just a little bit. "Really?" You raised an eyebrow. "Sorry, sorry, don't feel pressured or anything." He walked over, planing his hands on your hips and pulling you towards him. He tilted your head up and kissed you gently.

You sighed. "Yup, I definitely think I love you." He grinned. You kissed him again, sliding your fingers into his hair. His hands slid up into your shirt, tickling your stomach lightly. He pulled back slightly, resting his forehead on yours. His lips brushed yours as he spoke.

"So, about you loving Stiles-"

"Shut up!"
Isaac! Love him! So this could be a oneshot, or it could be the continuation of Nightmares. If you want to find out how Isaac and the reader met, read Beta.

So... I am not very good in commenting (or writing in english XD), but let me find some words for you... you did a very, VERY good job at all your stories! Everytime a situation become too clichéd and you think the *reader* now tells its overdramatic past and signalizes it is the most pitiful person ever (you know, this roll one's eyes moments) you are writing a perfect answer. It seems authentic and not over-emotional. The reader is not an fan caracter, it's a teen wolf character - so important as every other character. It's built-in perfectly in the world, not the other way around. That's - wow! I can't stop reading and hope to find more, more, more fanfictions from you <3
